Ombudsman & Accessibility Officer

Emily Arneson.

For both riders and non-riders, Emily Arneson works to remove barriers so people can share ideas and experiences with STA. So, what does that mean to you?

If you have a question about STA, but don’t know who to ask, call Emily. She works to assure that STA’s practices are understandable, fair and reasonable. If she doesn’t have the answer, she will find it, or connect you with an employee who does.

Maybe you have a complaint, but want to remain anonymous. Emily works independently, impartially, and confidentially. She will respect your wishes.

Do you have an idea for improving STA? Great! Emily compiles and brings forward citizen suggestions for STA. While not every idea can be put into action, Emily can explain how STA made its decision.

Do you need specific information regarding the ADA and its application at Spokane Transit?
