Summer Pass

A free STA pass for youth!

Spokane area libraries from Liberty Lake to the West Plains are distributing the STA Summer Pass to youth in grades K-12 and to 6-18 years old. The pilot program provides a free pass for unlimited transit rides between June 15 and September 15 to free and discounted activities throughout the region during the summer months.

The STA Board of Directors approved funding for the pilot program in April to meet multiple objectives including increased access to transit for young people, the development of future transit users, and establishing financial cost estimates for the jurisdictions within STA’s service area to contract for similar services in the future.

STA Summer Passes will be available at local libraries within STA’s service areas while supplies last. Students entering the ninth through twelfth grades (or ages 14-18)  will be required to verify age or school enrollment.

STA’s service areas includes the cities of Airway Heights, Cheney, Liberty Lake, Medical Lake, Millwood, Spokane, Spokane Valley and parts of the unincorporated county.
