Customer Service Representative
Job Summary
Spokane Transit is in the middle of a dynamic 10-year plan called STA Moving Forward. The purpose of this plan is to maintain, improve, and expand transit services throughout Spokane County to meet the needs of our growing community. We are looking for a well-qualified Customer Service Representative to help us to meet our quality service goals for the expanding needs of our Customer Service department.
As a Customer Service Representative you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service as you sell bus passes, respond to public inquiries, provide route and schedule information in person, over the phone, via email, and social media. You will handle cash as customers purchase passes and other revenue items. With your positive attitude and upbeat personality you will be a valued member of the Customer Service Representative team. Education and Experience
- One year of customer service experience as a Customer Service Representative in a service environment or related field
- Experience as a cashier or in a call center is desirable
- Availability to work any shift including weekends and holidays (7 AM – 7 PM)
- Ability to exercise patience, empathy and desire reach positive outcomes
