We invite you to join our Week Without Driving Challenge! From Monday, September 29, to Sunday, October 5, every time you tap a registered Connect or scan an eConnect QR code at the fare box, you’ll be entered to win a 31-day bus pass and STA gift bag.
Ways to Participate
Everyone’s encouraged to participate and experience a week without driving to work, the grocery store, or your child’s drop-off at school or child care center (Youth Ride Free).
- Take the Bus – learn about routes and schedules that take you to your destination. View Routes and Schedules here.
- Bikes on Buses – consider biking to the bus stop of your next departure. View Bikes on Buses information here.
- Transit Centers and Park & Rides – residents from areas not served by STA can park a vehicle for free at the nearest Transit Center or Park and Ride. View locations here.

About Week Without Driving
The Week Without Driving began in Washington State in 2021, started by Anna Zivarts, Director of Disability Mobility Initiative at Disability Rights Washington. It was created to help car drivers experience the commute challenges non-drivers face daily, and to inspire more accessible communities for everyone.
In 2023, America Walks helped expand the campaign across the country. That year, over 140 groups in 41 states and Washington, D.C. joined. By 2024, it grew to more than 520 groups in all 50 states and D.C.
